



Partner with the Park Scholarships Development Liaison on the Central Major Gifts team and other development officers across campus to identify, cultivate, and steward Park Scholarships major gift donors.Strengthen and support fundraising efforts of the student-led Park Philanthropy Council and Park Alumni Society to increase engagement and grow student and alumni participation in giving.Manage stewardship activities, including weekly and annual stewardship, Pack Appreciation Day activities, Park Thankathon, Thankview videos, and Park Scholar thank you letters.Coordinate local events, regional gatherings, and class reunions, including travel and other logistical arrangements, to strengthen outreach to alumni and existing and new donors.Manage the Park Scholarships annual giving program, including the development and implementation of solicitation efforts through direct mail, email, and NC State Day of Giving.Responsibilities may include, but not be limited to:

Serving as a key point of contact for fundraising and development-related efforts within the Park Scholarships program, this position will be integral in ensuring the operational efficiency of fundraising and development-related work across the program. Particular emphasis will be given to securing annual gifts to benefit the Park Scholarships Sustaining Endowment through direct mail marketing channels and campus-wide campaign efforts, and to growing the engagement of our community through events like the biannual sPark symposium and other events. The Assistant Director of Engagement will advance the mission of Park Scholarships by planning, organizing, and implementing strategies to increase the level of engagement and financial commitment of members of the Park Scholarships community including alumni, students, families, volunteers, faculty, staff, donors, and friends. The Assistant Director of Engagement will play a key role in these efforts. The program now has more than 1,100 alumni whose involvement creates a major impact. Throughout NC State’s record-setting Think and Do the Extraordinary Campaign and the generosity of alumni, families, students, and friends, the Park Scholarships program has been building on this generous gift. In 2013, the Park Foundation announced a $50 million gift to begin an endowment for the Park Scholarships at NC State.
